Choosing the right frame size

Frame size is the measurement from the centre of one hinge to the other and this directly influences the fit of your glasses. We offer various frame sizes:

• Small: less than 121 to 128mm
• Medium: 129 to 136mm
• Large: more than 136 to 140mm

How to determine your frame size:
Find your suitable size by measuring the hinge-to-hinge distance on a well-fitting pair of glasses you own, considering a tolerance of +/- 4mm for the best match.

• If you have a narrow face width consider a small-medium frame size.
• If you have a regular face width consider a medium-large frame size.
• If you have a wide face width consider a large frame size. (Consider than any model with a spring hinge will adapt to wider face widths)

For each pair of our glasses, you’ll find a ‘Fit & Dimensions’ section. Here, not only do we provide the ‘Frame Size’, but we also provide a recommendation on which face sizes fit best with those glasses.

The frame fit is about how the glasses look on your face, meaning how much of your face they cover. It’s about the visual style—whether the glasses appear big or small on your face, not how snugly they sit on your nose or ears. For instance, a frame labeled ‘narrow fit’ might still work well for wider faces. It’s more about the look rather than the actual fit. We offer various frame Fits:

• Narrow Fit: Designed with a smaller lens front, ideal for those looking to cover less of their face.
• Regular Fit: Features a medium-sized lens front, perfect for those seeking average face coverage.
• Wide Fit: Offers a larger lens front, suited for those desiring more coverage across their face.

Understanding other measurements

If you already own a pair of glasses, you will see some numbers engraved on the inside of the temple arm:

The first one is the Model Name, then the Lens width, Bridge width and Temple Length. The Temple Length, is the length the ‘arms’ of the frame. Sometimes there is also a fourth number which is the Lens Height. 

Each of these numbers is measured in mm.
